# P-Day Emails

> P-Day Emails helps missionary families share one email with everyone who subscribes. The missionary writes from their missionary.org account to a private sending address. Each subscriber receives their own copy, and replies go to the missionary, not the list.

A family manager creates the subscribe page and manages subscribers from their own dashboard. They do not need to sign in to the missionary's account. The two audiences are Everyone and Very Close; these are not a system of many custom groups.

## Plans

P-Day Emails is a one-time payment for the mission, not a subscription. The length of the call sets the price, not the title. An 18-month senior couple uses the $99 plan, and any 24-month call is $149. Every plan has a 30-day money-back guarantee.

- **Under 24 months — $99 once:** Sisters, service missionaries, and shorter calls.
- **24 months — $149 once:** Standard two-year missions.
- **Over 24 months — $199 once:** Senior missionaries and mission presidents.

A printed mission book is currently included with every plan for a limited time. It's professionally printed and bound, and ships after homecoming.

Every plan includes:

- Unlimited subscribers
- Everyone & Very Close private addresses
- Replies go to your missionary
- Photos with their letters
- Letters saved in your dashboard
- Printed mission book (currently included)

## How it works

1. A family manager creates a page, chooses how people join, and shares the subscribe link.
2. Family and friends subscribe with their own email addresses.
3. The missionary writes normally from their missionary.org account to the private Everyone or Very Close address. Each subscriber gets their own copy, replies go to the missionary, and letters are saved in the manager dashboard.

Pictures can be attached to a normal email. Separately, a manager can save a shared Google Photos album link in Settings; letters link to that album, but it is not copied into the letters or the book.

## Frequently asked questions

### Getting started

#### Does my missionary need a new app or login?

No. They write a normal email from their missionary.org account and send it to one of two private addresses. There's nothing new to install or sign in to for sending.

#### Do I need to log in to my missionary's account?

No. You sign in to your own P-Day Emails dashboard to set up the page and manage the list. Your missionary keeps writing from their own account.

#### Who manages the list?

Usually a parent, but it can be whoever the family chooses. The manager creates the page, shares the link, and looks after subscribers and privacy, so the missionary can just write.

#### Can we start after they've already left?

Yes. Create the page, share the link, and send your missionary their two private addresses. Letters they send to those addresses from then on go to the list. Earlier emails aren't imported automatically.

#### What should we set up before our missionary leaves?

Complete the account and settings before departure: confirm the missionary’s email address, profile, privacy choices, subscriber list, and Very Close list. After payment, share the signup page with friends and family and give your missionary their private sending instructions. If anything is unclear, email [support@pdayemails.com](mailto:support@pdayemails.com) and we’ll help.

#### Can I import email addresses I’ve already collected?

Yes. Export your Google Sheet as a CSV, or use a CSV you already have, and email it to [support@pdayemails.com](mailto:support@pdayemails.com). We’ll upload the addresses for you, so friends and family don’t need to subscribe individually.

### Sending and replies

#### What are Everyone and Very Close?

Two separate private send addresses. Everyone goes to the full subscriber list. Very Close goes only to the smaller group you choose. Your missionary picks one address for each letter.

#### What happens when Grandma replies?

Her reply goes to your missionary, not to the list. No reply-all chains.

#### Are photos attached to weekly emails saved for the mission book?

Attach or embed pictures just like a normal email. Photos saved with letters stay with the letter for delivery and for access after the mission; they are the starting point for your book.

#### Will photos from a linked Google Photos album be included in the book?

You can save a shared Google Photos album link in Settings, and we'll add a “View the photo album” link to the letters. The linked album isn't automatically copied into the letters or the book. If your family wants those album photos in the book, you can arrange to add them after the mission.

#### Should we back up photos before the missionary account closes?

Yes. Before access to the missionary's Google account ends after the mission, copy or download photos to a personal or family account. Keep that backup outside the missionary Google account, and confirm the current access deadline with the mission.

#### How do you know a letter really came from them?

Letters go out only when they come from your missionary's registered email address. After each letter goes out, your missionary gets a short confirmation.

### Subscribers and privacy

#### How do people subscribe?

Share the page link, like sisterjones.pdayemails.com, or print it as a QR code on the farewell program. Each person enters their own email. People can also join by sending an email to the page's join address. Either way, your joining setting applies.

#### Can I control who joins?

Yes. Your page can be open to anyone with the link, password protected, approval only, or invite only. You can see and manage the subscriber list in your dashboard.

#### Can people join later?

Yes. Share the link any time during the mission. New subscribers get the letters sent after they join; earlier letters aren't sent to them automatically.

#### Where are the letters saved?

In your manager dashboard. You also choose whether future Everyone letters have a web archive: email only, subscribers only, or public. Very Close letters always stay off the web archive.

### Plans and the book

#### Which plan fits our mission?

The length of the call sets the price, not the title. Under 24 months is $99, exactly 24 months is $149, and over 24 months is $199. That covers elders, sisters, service missionaries, senior couples, and mission presidents. An 18-month senior couple uses the $99 plan.

#### Is it really one payment?

Yes. You pay once for the length of the mission. There's no monthly subscription or renewal.

#### Is the printed book included?

Yes, a printed mission book is currently included with every plan for a limited time. It's professionally printed and bound, and ships after homecoming. Your letters are saved in your dashboard along the way.

#### Will we review the book before it is printed?

After the mission, we’ll prepare your book and send it to your family to review before printing. You can request changes to the photos, captions, or layout. Email [support@pdayemails.com](mailto:support@pdayemails.com), and we’ll help you get it ready.

#### Is there an extra charge for a larger mission book?

Larger books have an additional charge. We’re still finalizing the included page and photo limits and the extra pricing. Email [support@pdayemails.com](mailto:support@pdayemails.com) to discuss your book before printing.

#### What if it isn't right for us?

Every plan has a 30-day money-back guarantee. Email [support@pdayemails.com](mailto:support@pdayemails.com).

### Help

#### How do I get help?

Email [support@pdayemails.com](mailto:support@pdayemails.com). Setting up for someone else or already mid-mission? Say so and we'll help with that too.

#### Is this an official Church service?

No. P-Day Emails is an independent service. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
